                                        Some Key Biblical Doctrines:

                                        The Commands of Christ:
                                        John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
                                        John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.

God puts a condition on our love for His Son.  IF we agape love His Son, we WILL keep His commandments...  If we phileo love Jesus we will not keep His commands... As you can see by the verses above, that keeping the commands of Christ are the proof (faith without works is dead...). Just as faith without works is dead. So are your (mine) confessions of love for Christ IF we don't prove our love by keeping His commands. ALL things are made manifest according to the Bible. So the sheep will make it known (manifest) that they TRULY love Christ by obeying His commands... The goats will make it manifest (prove) they don't really love Christ because they won't keep His commands....

Please don't listen to the modern day church teachers that say things like "keeping the commands is legalism, because we are under grace...". Let me assure you... You won't be under grace IF you are not keeping the commands of Christ. Please see our section on what Grace is and you will understand. We must keep His commands and this shows our love FOR Him. No, we are not keeping commands to get saved. We keep His commands to show our love to Him and to be obedient to Him and His Word. So many people mess this up. They have been lied to for so long by the modern churches... that if they do any kind of "work" they will be judged by God as trying to work their way to heaven and save themselves... This is just pure craziness. We are simply obeying Christ because He is Lord and Saviour... nothing more and nothing less. Please review the commands of Christ we are showing you here and put them on your heart. There are dozens of supporting verses that support this view. All the way back in Genesis and all the way through the Bible to Revelation.

                                        Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

                                        How to be Born Again:
                                        John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

God has told us that to enter heaven, we MUST be born again. What does that mean? In the first part of our lives we grow up in an evil world. We absorb all of the evil that's in the world and it takes over who we are. We were made in the image of God and are born innocent beings. We are corrupted by the evil that comes through the TV set, music industry, evil and perverted movies, filthy magazines, drugs, alcohol, greed and of course satan and his ministers. Over the years we become what we have been exposed to in our life. A kid that grows up "in the hood" and learns to steal and kill... does just that. He steals and kills. Making him a sinner against the God of the universe. So the pollutions of this world ruin who we were created to be, which is a being that is to love and worship our Creator God and be His child. Our sin is breaking His laws and we become separated from Him by our decisions to steal, kill, rob, cheat, lie, get drunk, fornicate, etc. The first step in reconciling ourselves to Him is to realize what He has done for us already! He sent Himself to earth to die for us and bring us back to Him. What an awesome God He is! Jesus died for the sins of the world. We must believe this, believe God, believe Jesus is the Son of God, believe He died for our sins. And Believe what the Word of God (Bible) says! If you don't believe these things you will not be born again... Believing God and His Word, is the first step in becoming born again. Then you must repent. Which means change your mind from one thing, one belief, one way to another... You have to repent of your sins and your carnal lifestyle. Stop sinning or breaking Gods laws. This can only come through an understanding of "godly sorrow". You must actually feel remorse that your sins are an abomination to a Holy and perfect God and you sincerely want to correct that and CHANGE YOUR MIND about those sins and the sinful living that separated you from God.  Then put ALL faith (faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen) in Christ and His work on the cross, that He died for your sins, so that you may have eternal life. He paid the price. He saved you. He forgives your sins. And your faith is in Him and what He has done FOR YOU! You have no faith in yourself or anything else to save you. If you BELIEVE* and put all FAITH in Him alone... He will give you His Spirit and you will be born again. You will receive the Spirit of God and your journey with Christ will have begun... But you will then be "Born of the Spirit". There is much more to this journey, so please don't listen to the modern church that teaches a 10 second prayer saves you forever. That's not in the Bible! Please see the rest of this site on how to grow in Christ, abide in Christ, grow your faith, receive the Power of God (grace) to lead you into all truth and righteousness!

                                        * Believing in Christ is NOT a simple belief that He was the Saviour, or a simple belief He was the Son of God, etc. It is BELIEVING THOSE THINGS BUT ALSO BELIEVING EVERYTHING THAT GOD SAYS! AND OBEYING WHAT GOD SAYS! Please see our section on "Obedience"... Obedience and Faith and Believing go hand in hand with each other are very much related in the Bible. If you say you believe "IN" God and then deny (disbelieve) what He has told you to do... then you are not a Believer! If you are not a Believer, you are not Born Again!

                                        The New Testament Sabbath Rest:
                                        Hebrews 4 1-11
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.  9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.  11 Let
us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

I highlighted verse 9 above that says "today there remains a rest" for the old testament sabbath keepers who will try to tell me that we are under the old testament law of keeping the old sabbath. We are NOT under that anymore, it was replaced! TODAY THERE REMAINETH A SABBATH REST... depending on which Bible you get this from... We are to be under THIS Rest...
